Gadget for Windows 7, showing a Webcam (Feb 2011)

The gadget displays a picture from the internet. Not only the picture of a Webcam, but also e.g. an exchange-rate picture. If the gadget is installed, it shows my webcam. In the settings you can set the desired image, the daily stop time and the synchronization interval.  This script is freeware. |

He made in 2001(!) a small exe file signature.exe. I used this program until now. Anne wrote: "Signature is a very simple freeware program that adds a random tagline (such as a quote) to your email signature file. It only works with email clients that use a text file based signature..". _____________________________________________________ Now I have made a script Signature.vbs. My email program is Thunderbird. Each email account has the possibility to add a text file based signature, signature.txt. All signatures are in the file quotestag.txt. Quotes are starting with '#' in a single line. Signature.vbs reads this file, chooses randomly a tagline and writes this tagline in the file signature.txt. If there exists a file named header.txt, then this text will be inserted in signature.txt before the tagline. How I installed: Thunderbirds data can be found in the profile folder e.g. c:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\profile_folder\ All files are copied in this folder: header.txt quotestag.txt signature.txt Signature.vbs Then I created a shortcut in the startup folder to Signature.vbs. Everytime the PC is starting the signature.txt file will be changed. This script is freeware. You can copy, modify and use it as you like. Whether it works or not, or how it works is your problem. I am not responsible and you may not sue me. |
