Durch alle Töne tönet
Im bunten Erdentraum
Ein leiser Ton gezogen
Für den, der heimlich lauschet.

Friedrich Schlegel

Three very successful soloists with a strong attachment to chamber music have joined forces in the newly founded goldberg.trio.wien in order to transport their passion to audiences all over the world. The trio's repertoire ranges from the standard classics and romantics to the 20th century and also features such unknown treasures as works by Italian composer Francesco Cilea, American composer Arthur Foote and French composer Louise-Heritte Viardot.

When we met for the first time in 2009 to found a Piano-Trio we knew that we'd have to have a name for our formation. It suggested itself to find a link to the polish nationality of our violinist so we decided to name ourselves in honor of one of the most famous Polish Instrumentalists, punctually for the commemoration of his 100th birthday
