Software
- mydmm.c [view online], bigdmm.c [view online], bigdmm.h, mk.sh
A small tools suite for the mEtEx M-3850M. Bigdmm displays the values in BIG letters on your
Linux console, addionally providing a bargraph. The escape sequences for colour and special
(G1) characters are hardcoded (no ncurses, etc.), but can be turned off in bigdmm.h by
uncommenting a line. Mydmm prints out the values from the DMM to your console. If you prefer
an automatic compile process you can also download the tiny mk.sh script. Place it in the
same directory as the rest and run it. Have fun.
These files do not compile under DO$. They're too Linux specific.
- Small Telnet Chatserver
written in Java. Clients require a telnet client (which is installed by
default in Window$ and Un*x systems). Window$ Telnet, Linux Telnet,
PuTTY and NetBSD Telnet have been tested and work.
- WieBeS Webserver
A web-based file server with its own webserver and script interpreter
fully written in Java. The server itself is configurable over a graphic
environment. Additionally the server supports configurable authorizations
and regular expressions.
- muchine
virtual machine. A small virtual machine with its own minimal assembly
language. Features stackdump, memdump and variable execution speed.
It's actually a kind of programming exercise and has a clean coding
style. Thus, it may be used for educational purposes.
- NetworkSketchpad
A small but very useful vector graphics drawing program.
A picture can be drawn by multiple people simultaneously over a network
connection. If you know how complicated it is to explain something via
instant messaging, you know why you need this tool.
Note: Some Un*x/Linux tools may compile/run under DO$. Not all, but you can try
DO$ Tools
- split.c [view online]
Splits a (too) big file into pieces of the same of different size.
Arguments: file
- glue.c [view online]
Puts a file (splitted by split.c) together.
Arguments: first_file number_of_files swap[s]/noswap[n]
If the last argument is 's', you will be asked to switch disks before adding
the next file.
- b2hh2b.c [view online]
Converts a binary file into a HEX-file and back. (Simply hex numbers in a file, no In§el Hex
format or so. The hex-letters have to be lower case. No checksum.)
Somewhat like xxd on Un*x systems
Arguments: infile outfile h2b/b2h
h2b = Hex -> Bin
b2h = Bin -> Hex
Note: I compiled all DO$ Tools on B%rland C/C++ 5.01.
TI92+ Tools
Note: Most of the TI92+ Tools should also run on a TI89

mainly used in ASCII graphics.
