Sean Wilentz, Historiker und Autor von "Bob Dylan in America", hat die liner notes zu "Chimes of Freedom - The Songs of Bob Dylan - Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International" verfasst. Das Album mit 73 Songs auf vier CDs soll bei uns Anfang Februar erscheinen.

Am 12.1.2012 trat Dylan mit seiner aktuellen Tourband im Hollywood Palladium von Los Angeles im Rahmen der Critics' Choice Movie Awards auf und widmete dem Preisträger Martin Scorsese Blind Willie McTell.
