My name is Regina Unger and in June 1999 I have finished my studies (Biology/Zoology) at the Institute of Zoology, University of Vienna.

During working on my thesis at the Vienna Zoo Schönbrunn I studied short-eared elephant-shrews and since then I am really fascinated by these animals. With this website I want to introduce these tiny little creatures to all people who are interested in small mammals. On the other hand I also hope to give some information for students, animal keepers and zoologists.
