Our Gasthof has 9 rooms with bath, shower, WC, balcony and Satellite TV and also 4 appartments fitted with modern conveniences (with a total of over 40 beds). More information about our Gasthof can be found here.

The building belongs to the Schernthaner family since 1958, has been renovated in 1996 and since then also includes 4 appartments from 50 m2 up to 73 m2 for 4 to 6 Persons with shower, WC, fully equiped kitchen, living room with balcony, satellite TV., stereo, micro, oven, cutlery and more. In December 2005 our new appartment building with 12 beds will be ready.

Our Paula Groggerstüberl has 25 seats and is suitable for various occasions. The Paula Groggerstüberl is a NO-smoking and handy-free zone. Paula Grogger was born and raised in our Gasthof.

In the restaurant with 70 seats one can enjoy the meals from our kitchen, international meals as well as Styrian specialties. We are classified by the province of Stryria as "GUTE STEIRISCHE GASTSTÄTTE".

Our meeting room has up to 140 seats and the most modern technics at your disposal ( for seminars, weddings, meetings and various parties ).

Our Gasthof has a terras in the shade with 60 seats. During the summer you can attend Frühschoppen or a Grill-evening with salat buffet with Zipfer draught beer.

The bar, with 2 bowling lanes, Billiard, Darts and tablefootball is open until 3.00 am. We have our own taxi service and trips for groups of 6 or more persons. For nature lovers we advise the ENNSRADWEG ( R 7 ). For cyclists we have a bicycle garage and service available. We are a cyclist- and biker friendly business. One of the latest attractions is the " Öblarner Kupferweg " that opened during Summer 2000. Nature , Geologie , History , Schmelztechnik , Archeologie , Bergbau , A pure experience along the way in the Walchen. ( The Walchental was from 15 th until the 19 th Centuryone of the most important Mining and Industry areas in Austria). More info at: www.kupferweg.at

There is of course a railway station in Öblarn, but intercity trains don't stop here. In this case we offer our house-guests a free transfer between Gröbming and Stainach / Irdning.
